From sunny beaches to the snowy forests of Yosemite, cosmopolitan cities to arid desert, just pick the kind of holiday you are after and you can make a plan in California, there’s a bit of something for everybody.
The epicentre of the glamorous Hollywood stars and the entertainment industry, Los Angeles is always the place to be when you have the right connections and money.
I prefer wandering the zig zag streets of San Francisco than grid-locked Los Angeles and hiking around Lake Tahoe and Yosemite National park is on most traveller’s bucket lists for a reason!

TIME FRAME?

How long is a piece of string? California is a great option for any length of time, be it a quick layover to a full road trip along the coast.

Pick what you want to do the most and map it out. It is a bigger state than you think and driving from San Diego to San Francisco will take 8.5 hours straight without the daily peak-hour traffic jams that plague all the big cities and wide highways.

WHERE SHOULD I GO IN CALIFORNIA?

WHERE SHOULD I GO IN CALIFORNIA?

WHERE ELSE SHOULD I GO IN THE U.S?

WHERE ELSE SHOULD I GO IN THE U.S?

The state of California has a larger population than all of Canada
